Georgiana Ciceo is the designer behind Monom, our all time favourite minimalist jewelry brand. Her designs incorporate sharp geometries – hints of her background in architecture, but also delicacy and grace – hints of her charming personality.

Through Monom, Georgiana manages to reflect and amplify the most captivating aspects of her own self, blending refinement, softness and structure.

We caught up with Georgiana to learn about what’s keeping her inspired these days and to chat about her daily rituals.

Favorite song that you had on repeat on 2020… there were two, depending on my mood – E penso a te – Lucio Battisti and Up Past The Nursery – SUUNS

Favorite book… I tend to read everything from writers I love. It used to be Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s – Cien Años de Soledad, more recent it’s L’amica geniale – Elena Ferrante – I love the way she depicts the friendship and relationships between women. 

Favorite artist… Egon Schiele. There’s a red haired lady in the Albertina Museum in Vienna I always visit when I get there. 

Favorite local brand

I have plenty, as many are friends of mine and others I admire from afar. I enjoy wearing UNDRESS, Mihaela Glavan, Crina Bulprich, Vilegiatura, Bianca Popp, Ioana Ciolacu and many others.

3 things that make you happy

My loved ones being healty, my dream growing by the day, traveling to places I love.

I like my coffee… in bed, shared with the one I love.

What do you feel when you are undressed?

Honesty.
